What you should know about us:
We have been together since 2008, and got married on May 22nd, 2010. We both graduated with our Bachelor's degrees in April of 2015 in Journalism. In July of 2014 we purchased The Defiant, our 1988 Class C Fleetwood Tioga Motor-home. We spruced up the inside and with our cats set off to travel and write about the Modern American Dream, our life on the road, and our lust for new experiences. Life on the road was an adventure, we needed that time to tune back into ourselves and what we wanted out of life. In January of 2015 we decided that life on the open road was not our cup of tea and decided to settle down in Bullhead City, Arizona until we graduated from college. During this time Kayla was offered a lucrative position with a local company and we decided to stick around for a little while.

Once we were settled in an apartment in Bullhead City we decided to return to school for our Master's Degrees. Something we both agreed we wouldn't do... but a choice that would enhance our chance for success in the future.

Once we have received our Master's degrees we plan to move on to begin our careers. We are not sure where that will take us but we are excited to find out!

"Making the rest of our life the best of our life"

^^This is our motto! We strive every day to become better than the people we were yesterday. We also know that we must be the change we wish to see in the world, so why wait?

We started our relationship in 2008. We were extremely happy as a couple, and since the very first day we met we knew we were soul-mates/ twin-flames. We felt like we had known each other for several life times and we were able to immediately begin planning our life together.

Shortly after we began school in 2010, he was going to school to be a lawyer and she was going to be a registered nurse, we decided that we needed to earn degrees in a subject that we were passionate about and would allow us to travel/ experience this huge world.

During the time that we decided to change our degree majors to Journalism we learned so much about the way the world works. The decision to make journalism and mass communications our majors in our undergraduate degree may not have been the best financial decision but we soaked up so much information during the process that helped us determine our place in the world.

We ultimately decided to change the world. However we also understood that changing the world meant being the type of person the world needs. There are so many problems with the world that we felt the only real solution was to live a life we loved, suggest that others do the same, and continue connecting with people who had already realized this. When your work, relationships, and hobbies are all centered around things you love you have less time for emotional attributes related to hate. We discovered that in order to change the world we must begin with ourselves.

Why are we writing this blog and sharing our experiences with the world wide web you may ask?? Simple, because we believe ideas and sharing those ideas can make a person wealthy. No we are not trying to make it rich by sharing our life and what we have learned with you all, but wealthy as in the type of wealth that really matters. We are the type of people who live to share, and frankly I believe that this blog can be a great outlet for that.

We look forward to sharing blog posts about the things we are passionate about, if you have any questions about our blog, us, our travels, or anything else feel free to contact us

We are glad to have you with us on this journey!!
